For the last few months I’ve been working with Art21 a wonderful foundry in Zapopan, Guadalajara, MX. I’m learning so much from these generous professionals. This is the small indoor studio where they work on Polymer pieces.
How wonderful it is when a collector sends me a photo of my art in their new home!
In sculpting I approach every medium as a carver uncovering what is within the material and myself. In stone I use chisels, mallets, grinding and cutting wheels; in clay - knives, cutting wire, and wooden blocks.
I’m introducing some new work in my series Poems in Color. Come read about it!

  • Entering Mexico you get a stamped piece of paper, that’s your Visa! Keep it safe. You’ll need it when leaving the country.
  • Clothing - most days it’s sunny, gorgeous, mid 70’s. Cools down in the evenings and nights. Bring comfortable clothes you can layer up. No AC or heating anywhere.
  • Bring sturdy and comfortable walking shoes - this is a fabulous Mexican Pueblo with cobble stones and broken sidewalks.
