I am a descendant of generations of ancestors that were immigrants and refugees and I have myself immigrated three times. My tribe is known as the Jewish Nomads, a people with a rich history of displacement. This history, and that of many around the world, has been the main focus of my art for many years. I sculpted the hardships and obstacles faced by those compelled to seek new homes or escape dire circumstances. This body of work is characterized by its somber and introspective nature, serving as a visual testament to the struggles endured by individuals in search of safety and stability.
These are a few pieces of the very large body of work I created during these years.
